Verde Optimal

Professional websites for sole traders & small businesses

I build the kind of clean, effective website that used to be reserved for bigger companies with bigger budgets, then keep it running with monthly maintenance and SEO.

What I do

Two services now, a third on the way

From a simple one-pager to a full booking system, I'll scope it properly either way.

Website builds

Fast, accessible, mobile-first websites built from scratch, designed around your business and easy for customers to use. Every build runs to a signed scope of work.

Maintenance & SEO

A monthly retainer covering updates, fixes, blog posts and ongoing SEO optimisation, so the site keeps working after launch.

AI automation

Custom automation for SMEs: automated documentation, speed-to-lead systems and more. In development.

How it works

From first call to live site

Six steps, all agreed up front, so there are no surprises on scope or price. Most builds go live around one to two weeks after the deposit, once your content and access are in.

01

Discovery call

I talk through your business, what the site needs to do, and what each of us needs from the other to get moving.

02

Scope & deposit

You get a written scope of work to sign. A 50% deposit books the project in and I get started.

03

Secure handover

I set up a shared drive and an encrypted way to pass over logins, domain access and brand assets.

04

Design & build

I design and build the site, then prepare the rounds of revisions set out in your scope of work.

05

Review & refine

You review the work and I make the changes needed, until we both agree the site is finished.

06

Launch & maintain

I help you get hosting set up, take the site live, and settle the final 50%. Afterwards you can keep it cared for on an optional monthly retainer for updates, blog posts and SEO.

Pricing

Honest, transparent pricing

Every build is quoted on its own, with no fixed packages, and projects typically start from £600. I keep pricing as affordable as I can, so a sole trader or small business gets a fully optimised website that genuinely helps it grow.

£600 to start

What a build is priced on

  • The hours the build takes
  • How complex the site is
  • The features it needs, like booking, an online shop, integrations or custom design
  • Content and copywriting help, or migrating an existing site

£600 is a typical starting point; the final quote depends on the points above. No hidden fees, and every project gets a written scope of work agreed before anything is paid.

What every build includes

  • Five pages: landing, About, contact, work and terms
  • Responsive, mobile-first design
  • A working contact form
  • On-page SEO groundwork
  • Analytics set up
  • Google Business Profile help
  • A handover call and handover notes
  • One round of revisions
  • 14 days of post-launch bug fixing

Extra pages, or features like online booking, a shop or integrations, are scoped and priced on top.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

What platform do you build on?

Every site is hand-coded as fast, lightweight pages rather than built on a page-builder or template. That means no platform lock-in, quicker load times, and a site made specifically for your business.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the project is paid in full, ownership of everything built for you, including the code and the design, transfers to you. The detail is in the terms and conditions.

What is included in a standard build?

A standard project is five pages: a landing page, an About page, a contact page, a portfolio or work page, and a terms and conditions page. Every build also includes responsive design, a working contact form, on-page SEO groundwork, analytics set up, help with your Google Business Profile, a handover call and handover notes, one round of revisions, and 14 days of post-launch bug fixing.

Anything beyond five pages, or features like online booking or a shop, is scoped and priced separately.

How long does a build take?

Most builds go live around one to two weeks after the deposit, once your content and access are in. Bigger builds with extra features or content writing take longer, and that is set out in your scope of work.

What happens after launch if I need changes?

You get 14 days of free bug fixing after go-live. After that, small changes can be quoted one-off, or you can take the optional £40 a month plan covering maintenance, updates, SEO and blog posts. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Who pays for hosting and the domain?

Those are yours and paid for directly by you, usually around £10 to £30 a year for a domain plus hosting depending on the provider, and they stay in your own accounts so you keep full control. I can recommend providers, and if you need a hand getting set up, I can help with that.

Can you build an online shop or a booking system?

Yes. Those sit outside a standard five-page build, so they are scoped and quoted on their own. Bring it to the discovery call and I will price it properly.

Can you help with content and copywriting?

Yes. Content help and copywriting can be added to a build. It affects the quote and is written into the scope of work.

Built by someone who wants to build businesses

Verde Optimal was founded by Fabio Verde, and for now it is a one-person studio, so every project gets proper, unrushed attention. The goal is simple: build a business that grows with its clients, one honest project at a time.
